KS&L 386 The Ghosts' Perspective by Tina Erwin

Sometimes when you have some modest level of psychic ability, you are blessed when you find that can use this skill in the service of others. Some psychics talk to the dead. Some tell futures, some predict dire events and some help the police department.
In my case, I discovered almost twenty years ago that I could actually see ghosts and assist them to cross over. At first, I didn’t fully realize how critical this assistance would become for those who have died difficult deaths. What kind of death would that be?
A difficult death is one where the soul may have killed him or herself, been murdered, died in battle or in an emotional place where the soul feels that somehow something about themselves isn’t worthy of God’s love. The energy of these souls, these predecessors of time gone by, impacts those of us living today.
In my studies of Feng Shui I became aware of predecessor energy, the energy of people who have lived on a spot of earth many centuries before the current owners. I came to realize how powerful negative predecessor energy ca be because of the manner in which it can tragically impact the current owners. Out of this understanding, I realized that usually, when a ghost ‘haunts’ a location, he or she or even a group of souls usually isn’t doing it to harass the current owners. The ghost is either there existing ‘psychically’ in the time in which they used to live, or the person has no idea that he or she has actually died. On rare occasions the soul does realize that death has come for them and he or she can still see mortal people in the current time.
Frankly, the more I studied the ghostly predecessors of the past, the more I realized what tremendous theme and variation exists in their reasons for not crossing over into the Heaven World. However, what they all had in common was a reason that crossing over seemed impossible for each of them. They needed help in their spiritual process because their method of death or their negative feelings about themselves at death made transition seem impossible. I also realized that if any psychic can see or hear a ghost, that soul has very probably, not crossed over into the light. I became chillingly aware that simply having a conversation with a ghost was not helpful to the ghost long term. Souls who are ghosts truly need help from the living.
Over the years while assisting many thousands of souls to make that blessed transition into the light of the Heaven World I heard their stories. Some stories were of judgment gone terribly wrong, some of horrific murders, some were of towering guilt and self hatred. As I shared these stories privately with family and friends, routinely each person would tell me that this perspective, this ghost’s perspective, was totally unique, something that he or she would never have previously considered.
So at the urging of friends and family, I recently published 3 books called Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View. Actually, they are Kindle Singles of seven short ghost stories each. (There is also a combination of these stories in physical book and ebook form: Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View Trilogy Volume One.) Each story explains what has happened to a particularly memorable person who has died, and why he or she hasn’t crossed over into the light. More stories/books will follow because I have volumes of these ghostly tales.
If you have a chance, I hope that you will take a moment to meet the first of many of these memorable characters: Annabelle, the seven-year ghost in pink pajamas carrying a butcher knife. Then there’s the civil war ghost in love with a living person and then of course there’s the controlling mother – but wait, I don’t want to spoil your experience! I want you to meet them, hear them and then open your hearts to each of their situations.
However, I do have to warn you that the reason that predecessor energy is so powerful is that the ghost’s experience is usually one of tremendous emotion and that dynamic energy is why you are feeling that ghost’s presence. Therefore, listening to and reading about their experiences may challenge you, unnerve you and hopefully move you as much as they have moved me.
I encourage you to read these stories with an open mind and a compassionate heart. Think about it: the compassion that each of these souls is requesting could be the very compassion that each of us would need to receive if that were us trapped as a ghost in another time and place.
Sometimes, it will take courage to read these true stories. I hope that each of you, who choose to read this amazing series of ghost stories, will never feel the same again about a ghost. Perhaps you will no longer be fearful of them, but will offer angels to help them. Such is the tremendous value of Light Work.
Finally, I would love to know which story touched your heart and why.

The Dangerous Resonance of Pink by Tina Erwin

The following is an excerpt from my new ebook:
The Lightworkers Guide to Everyday Karma [2011]
[available everywhere eBooks are sold!]

The Dangerous Resonance of Pink

Resonance is a critically important metaphysical concept to understand. Everything has a frequency. Resonance is the concept that you resonate, or are in harmony with something, someone, some place or with some concept that is the same frequency as yours, or is close to that frequency.

When you resonate with something, you take on those characteristics because you agree with what it is saying. So, it is exceptionally important to pay attention to all those things in which you are in resonance.

You have to consciously decide, and choose with what you will be in resonance. However, what if you are not aware that somehow you are becoming in resonance with a concept that could be exceptionally harmful to you? Could this happen? Is it possible?

It is possible and it is happening right before your eyes. Women today are being made to believe on an exceptionally subtle level that they will inevitably get breast cancer. At some point, there is a subtle pressure to believe that no matter what you do, this terrible thing is going to happen to you. Some women are so afraid of this that they are going ahead and having whole body parts removed in advance. They are allowing themselves to be mutilated to preclude breast cancer. American women are becoming completely in resonance with breast cancer.

How is this resonance being perpetrated? Pink! Wear pink for the Cure! There is Breast Cancer Awareness Week, Month, Year, Day, Sale, Offer, and on and on. At first it started out with pink bracelets, and then pink ribbons. Now everywhere you look, you see this toxic manipulation of your psyche through the most astounding things such as selling pink kitchen appliances, pink computer/phone technologies, Fight For the Cure jewelry - which you wear in the vicinity of your breasts - of course.

There are also marathons. “Race for the Cure!!!” they say. Imagine hundreds of women running a marathon, all in resonance with each other and all thinking about breast cancer. All mistakenly thinking their running is going to somehow stop what they now believe in the recesses of their minds is inevitable: breast cancer.

Some soup now comes in cans with pink labels, so eat the soup and think of breast cancer.

Carpet companies give discounts if you buy ‘pink flooring’ and they will donate to ‘the cure for breast cancer.’

One bakery in Virginia even sells bagels in the breast cancer ribbon shape and wraps them in pink paper.

And the absolute worst pink product: breast cancer awareness underwear in pink bras and panties. Think about it. You are being asked to wear the representation of breast cancer directly on your very breasts. So even as you get dressed, you are putting on a pink bra that will cradle the very breasts that just may have to be removed.

That is a lot of fear. That is a tremendous number of women to place in fear and to place this fear in front of them day after day, week after week, and year after year. The drug companies are literally creating the very market they are telling people they want to eliminate - breast cancer patients. But breast cancer is very, very big business. Breast cancer advertising is an even bigger business on very subtle levels.

Over the past seventy years, billions of dollars have been donated to find a cure. Where is this money from all of these fund raising activities actually going? Where is the cure for cancer?

This resonance issue goes a step further. Not only are you being made to be afraid of your very bodies, you are being made to believe that fighting your body will somehow keep you safe.

There are now millions of extremely sincere, conscientious women, in resonance with each other, wearing an insipid shade of pink thinking that they are standing side by side with other women of like mind who want to find a cure for a disease they do not even have but believe that they will probably, eventually get. There is no logic here, only exceptionally brilliant advertising. You surely don’t see men wearing shiny brown ribbons to fight prostate or testicular cancer. You absolutely don’t see men having their prostates removed or testicles lopped off - just in case. No man in his right mind would do such an illogical thing.

These resonance issues also apply to women who have already had breast cancer. By keeping them in resonance with breast cancer, they stay labeled ‘breast cancer survivors’ forever. When do they heal? When is it over? When do the support groups end?

People who wear these bracelets and pins think they are being supportive, but potentially, they could be harming themselves.

So, what can you do to change your resonance? Look forward to karmic opportunities to keep yourself happy, healthy and potentially forever cancer free. The time has come to shift your resonance to being with people who are happy, healthy and who are enjoying the life and the body they have. Now is the time to become in resonance with a whole new wonderful reality and enjoy a healthy life for the rest of your life.

Wisdom and the Fool by Sig Lonegren

Dear Friends,
I receive Sig's Tip o' the Week. I thought this week's tip on Wisdom and the Fool was worth sharing. Thanks Sig! Tina

Tip o' the Week #106 - Wisdom and The Fool

It is with some trepidation that I write about the topic of Wisdom. But recently some things have come together that have emboldened me to be so foolish.

Let's begin with the Kabbalistic Tree of Life. Wisdom is the next to last Sepheroth (#2) called "Chokmah." (The Sepheroth are the 10 attributes/emanations in Kabbalah through which God created the world and/or manifests.)
Tree of Life
Tree of Life
(from A Complete Guide to the Tarot
by Eden Gray.New York: Crown Publishers. 1970.
Library of Congress Card Number: 70-108086.
Wisdom is the last step of the Pilgrim/Seeker on the Spiritual Path before reaching Kether/the Crown/dare I say, "The One."

Wisdom "means HOW TO ACCURATELY 'ACT' IN ONE'S CURRENT SITUATION. This is not a matter of 'information' that one is missing (for apparently the 'facts' are already known), but of HOW TO TAKE ACTION on the known facts. EFFECTIVE PLANNING OF HOW WE WANT OUR LIVES TO BE IN THE FUTURE is the central issue in solving Chokmah-related crises; we must find a way to DECIDE what to do, how to become or what to evolve our lives into. Carefull FUTURE-PLANNING is of the essence here." <http://www.spirit-alembic.com/chokmah.html>

According to Dr. Igor Grossman of the University of Waterloo in Canada, there are five crucial aspects of wise reasoning. (Cited in The Economist - 7 April 2012 p. 80). {I have put my small additions (in italics and brackets/parentheses)}:

1. Willingness to seek opportunities to resolve conflict.

2. Willingness to search for compromise.

3. Recognition of the limits of personal knowledge. (Wisdom didn't start with me!)

4. Awareness that more than one perspective on a problem can exist. (Sacred point of view)

5. Appreciation of the fact that things may get worse before they get better. (Healing crisis)

I have begun to apply these five aspects to difficult issues I encounter. Seeking resolution and compromise is where it begins - not 'My way is the ONLY way!' as said by so many Fundamentalists these days. Then recognising one's limits of personal knowledge reminds me of that quote by one of my teachers, Terry Ross when questioned about something he said or dowsed, "Wisdom didn't start with me." I've written about Seneca Wolf Clan Garandmother Twylah Nitsch's saying, "When sitting in a circle, everyone has their own sacred point of view." We all see the centre (the object of discussion) from a slightly different perspective or point of view depending upon where we sit in the circle. And finally, the reality that things may get worse before they get better. Here in Glastonbury, that's called a Healing Crisis.
IMHO, all these points are wise to remember.

The Role of the Fool

The Fool

I've long felt an affinity with the Fool particularly in my early school years and also in the Tarot. I have dyslexia, and to cover my spelling and math misteaks, I became the class clown (lots of us dyslexics use this disguise). If you have difficulty in responding to even simple questions from the teacher, if you're already a clown, no one can call you a fool.

But I was also drawn to this archetype when I first got in to things esoteric in the late sixties. The license plate in my hippy wagon/Volkswagon bus was "Aleph." In the Tarot, the Fool's numerical location is Zero, and therefore the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet - Aleph is the Fool. In a sense, because s/he has no numerical location, the Fool represents the Pilgrim/Seeker on the path. Like the player in a board game, S/he can be everywhere.

Recently, I was re-reading Eden Gray's Complete Guide to the Tarot (cited above). Each card is attributed to a path number. The Fool's path is Number 11 - the last path to be trod by the seeker before reaching the One/Kether. When the Fool gets to Wisdom (Chokmah) and s/he then ready to reach The Crown/Kether. And Eden Gray says, "The Fool, in its esoteric meaning, goes along with Kether, as they both represent the Unknown Absolute before it comes into manifestation."

In the Medieval Court, only the Fool could tell the King where it was really at - and get away with it.

May this foolish thing called Wisdom come to all of us on this planet.
We sure could use it.
