A Very Difficult View by Tina Erwin

The following story is one that will appear in a future ghost book, however, because there is so much controversy about this topic in the news these days, I thought perhaps that it would be helpful to share several views that appear in this story.
So many times, people take sides, believing that their view is the only view, the only righteous viewpoint. But sometimes, there are so many important ways to look at something that there cannot simply be only one correct view.
We all like to think that we control our future, that we have a say about what will happen to us, but sometimes, karma, for whatever reason, throws us a curve ball and a critical decision is required. For some, an agonizing decision.
When you read this story, when you approach this with an extremely open mind, perhaps you will come to know the torture of a dilemma that takes two people to create, but ends up ultimately being the responsibility of only one person. That one person has to make a life or death decision and that decision will echo out for better or worse for an eternity.
Perhaps you will still hold tight to your view after you read this. But perhaps, you will be a bit less judgmental in your perspective and a great deal more compassionate because most of the time, things are not exactly what they seem. Life is not always black and white.

That Terrible Feeling© 2012 by Tina Erwin

“I’m So Bad, I’m so Bad, I’m So Bad, I’m so Bad . . . .
My close friend Mary called complaining of a headache in the middle of her forehead. She said she felt an uneasy, heaviness surrounding her, and that she just didn’t feel well. This was very unusual for her because she always enjoys wonderful health.
And it was precisely because she is always in such good health that the ‘heaviness’ didn’t feel normal. She said it felt as if there was a presence with her, something other-worldly. She would have felt self-conscious telling me this but by now, we had been friends long enough that telling me she felt like there were multiple ghosts with her was not that unusual. This is an exceptionally psychic lady. She was wondering what this could be and asked if I could help her.
I remote viewed my friend’s house, and in this particular case she and I were both pretty astonished with what we found. My friend could sense what she thought were only a few ghosts, but what tipped her off was her pounding headache, almost as if it was someone or perhaps a group of people pressuring her.
Usually when you have that kind of ghostly spiritual pressure, the energy can manifest in physical symptoms of either: nausea, lethargy, headache or all three. Fortunately, she only had a headache, but she did not want it to become anything greater. I told her I would take a look.

“Who Are All These Women?”
Once I started to work, I could readily see and feel this astonishing scene. It took me a few minutes to sort out exactly what I was seeing. It looked pretty toxic.
It looked as if I had stumbled upon an opening to a very dark place. How can I describe what that looked like? How does one convey the sheer volume of emotion that I could see?
When you work in these realms, you can see the emotion that surrounds a person. That emotion can be dark, looking sooty and dirty. It can be depressed and look flat and gray. Some emotion is rage filled and does look extremely red and angry. In this case, we saw what looked like thousands of women in a state of severe depression, women who hated themselves. The colors that surrounded them ranged from gray, to black sooty swirls, to flashes of angry, red electricity.
Who are all these women, I asked myself.  I knew I needed to figure out why they are here.
Sometimes to help a soul or a group of souls, you have to learn why the specific group of souls in front of you has been presented to you and how you can help them. Not all souls require the same type of assistance. Some souls want you to listen to their story. Some want forgiveness, which is not up to me to provide. Forgiveness has to come from within a person but if a person feels that what she has done cannot be forgiven, she will literally send herself to hell to be punished. My job is to ask for assistance from the Heaven World on their behalf. Other souls want you to tell them what to do or to help them to understand where they are. These souls in this particularly terrible place needed more than just directions, they needed the very essence of compassion itself.
It appeared to me that this was a unique group of souls with similar issues. I could see some women weeping, some screaming, some were rocking back and forth, muttering to themselves. I had no idea who these women were or why I was seeing them, but I knew I had to offer all of them immediate assistance.
When a soul is in a terrible state of deep depression or self-hatred, it is necessary to facilitate an energetic frequency elevation so that the soul can begin to make that transition to the Heaven World. The issue is that when a soul is in tremendous despair there is a huge frequency disparity between where they are and where he or she needs to be to cross over. At least some part of them has to heal enough to make the transition. Usually, the presence of an angel readily facilitates this process, which usually takes a few minutes.
As the Angels of Transition began to assemble, I watched the women recoil in horror as the angels began to approach them. I was bewildered as it appeared as if the presence of the angel was more of a torture, than an assistance. I realized that obviously, I was missing something huge.

“I Wanted to Keep Her, I Wanted to Hold Her”
I decided that I needed to hear their stories, so I began to approach several women and gently encouraged each to tell us her story.
The first woman I approached was sitting in dirty, bloody clothes. Her hands were bloody too, although it seemed that her hands were symbolically bloody as if they represented the energy of her action more than anything else. She would not tell me her name. I had to gently encourage her to share her sadness. I repeatedly assured her that I would not judge her; that I was genuinely here to help her without any prejudice whatsoever.
The energy of the angel standing by her, glowing brightly in this chilling place, was the only hopeful element present. Perhaps it was the angel’s presence that gave her enough positive energy to begin to open up with her story.
“I’m so bad, I’m so bad, I am so bad.” This was all she would say at first as she sat there in her red stained clothes, her arms wrapped around her thin, black stocking, covered legs, just rocking back and forth, back and forth. She behaved almost as if she were in some type of unending catatonic trance.
I reassured her that whatever it was, that I could help. I also explained that if she were not worthy of help, then I couldn’t be there. After a few minutes she began to slowly speak, almost as if she was choking on each tortuous word.
“I don’t – exactly --- know --- how it - it happened. One day (she sighs heavily here) I realized I was pregnant and I knew that I was going to be damned forever. The church says that being pregnant out of wedlock is a sin against God. The priest said that I am forever dammed to hell. I see that angel, but the priest says that God cannot love or ever forgive me. I am a sinner, a sinner. What’ve I done to my child? What’ve I done?”
Her sobs opened my compassionate heart to her. What a terrible sentence her church had imposed upon her! I could not tell exactly what era of time she was from, but from the look of her clothes, I guessed she had lived sometime about 150 – 200 years ago. I encouraged this poor soul to continue.
“Tell me, what happened to your baby? Did you get to keep her?”
Again, she rocked and cried for a while before she could continue speaking. I asked the angel to place a healing blanket on her shoulders.
“I wanted to keep her! I did! I wanted to hold her, at least once, to feel her sweet skin against my face. I wanted to kiss her pretty little fingers. I longed to rock her and comfort her when she cried. I didn’t care that God had damned me. I wanted her so much; I loved my little girl. She had such a sweet face. . .” At this point her sobs would have surely broken the heart of the hardest person.
I let her regain her ability to speak, knowing that simply sharing her story was healing in its own way. Sometimes you have to get the darkness out and her torture was a lethal dose of guilt.
“The priest in the village said that I could not keep my child because it was a crime against God. So immediately after she was born, the midwife showed her to me and took my baby from me. I never saw her again. Pretty soon, a barren woman in a nearby village ‘had a baby.’ I knew that was my baby. This woman was barren because she should never have had children. This ‘new mother’ was cruel to my little girl. My child had a terrible life with her. I heard the gossip about her and my baby. It was all my fault. I should have found a way to care for her. I should never have let them take her from me, but I was only fourteen and my father didn’t want another child, he didn’t want his child around reminding him of what he did to me.”
I took a deep breath. Incest was and still is so common. However, it didn’t matter to this woman, she loved the life growing inside of her but the circumstances of her life precluded her from ever parenting this child.
About this time, another woman spoke up.
“They done took my little baby boy from me and give him up to an orphanage. My family didn’t want me to shame um with no bastard child runnin’ around. After daddy found out I was pregnant he done beat me so hard. He called me a slut an’ a whore but it t’were my brother who done this to me! How was I gonna tell them? I weren’t allowed to visit my son in the orphanage either or my daddy woulda’ beat me even harder. I cried every day for what seemed forever. I never got to see him again.”
A new voice penetrated the darkness. The courage of the other women must have empowered her to tell us about her painful situation.
“When the priest found out I was pregnant, he kept me out of sight in the convent when I began to show. I had a big belly. Once my adorable baby boy was born, I overheard the priest tell the Mother Superior to take my son outside, kill it and bury it. How can a priest who got me pregnant order someone else to kill his own baby? The priest said that God wanted the baby dead to punish me for my sin of being a woman. I wish they had killed me too.”
More and more women began to tell us their stories. We could hear their cries. The darkness, rage and the sooty atmosphere was their grief, their guilt and their self-hatred.
“Despite the women’s movement, the freedom we thought we had in the sixties, once I got pregnant, that ‘freedom’ went out the window. My boyfriend told me that he wouldn’t marry me if I had our baby and he insisted that I get an abortion. He said that when we were married, and had more money that we could have a baby. He said it was just a bunch of cells anyway.
The day of the abortion, he went to the clinic with me and helped me through the ‘procedure.’ He was totally elated when the ‘procedure’ was over. He told me that now we could plan our wedding. I threw up. I had murdered my baby and he was elated. We broke up and I never saw him again. I have considered myself a murderer all of my life. I don’t deserve any angel you send to me.”
“Well, if I had been able to have an abortion, at least I wouldn’t have had to watch as my child was given to someone who didn’t love her.”
       Yet another woman spoke up.
“I was twelve when the stranger abducted and raped me. I didn’t know what sex was but I got pregnant anyway. I didn’t want that nasty life in my body – the child of a rapist! I was glad for the abortion when my parents put me through it. But the rest of my life I felt so confused. After all of that, I never even wanted to be with a man or even think about having children.”
“I was raped at 22 and I had his black baby. I tried to raise the child. I did. I did everything I could think of to try to love this little boy, but no matter what I did, when I looked at him with all that kinky hair, I saw the man who raped me. Finally, when he was three, I gave him up for adoption to a bi-racial couple that wanted him very much. I hoped he was happy. I still feel terrible about this. I should have had an abortion rather than having him and giving him up. Which was worse? I am eternally tortured by what happened to me and to this child.”
“My son got his girlfriend pregnant  - twice! and he insisted she abort both babies – and she did. He’s a doctor! She’s a nurse! How can people who are supposedly dedicated to doing no harm do this? They are married, and have two kids now. But when I see them I feel that I can still see the other two children standing there. They haunt me. I should have taken them. I should have talked my son and his wife out of aborting those babies. I deserve to be punished. I know why I’m here.”
“I had ten abortions before I finally got married and had my two sons. Hell is where I belong.”
“I got pregnant by the Earl himself. I was his chambermaid and one day he just ‘took’ me. I had his bastard child, which he of course denied. But I loved this child. Finally I had someone in my life to love.
The Earl was furious that I kept his child and he banished me from his manor house. He made sure that no one else would ever hire me. It took me a long time to find a place where I could live with my child and make a living. Finally, the vicar in a nearby village took pity on me and hired me to be his housekeeper. At least now I had a roof over our heads but life was hard for my son. Everyone called him a bastard. I felt horrible for putting him through that. If I could, looking back on it, I wish I could have had a way of ending the pregnancy rather than put him through a lifetime of torture.”
Quietly, the angels began placing healing blankets around the trembling shoulders of each woman.
And the stories continued from all different time periods and various stacks of time including modern times. I was quietly taking it all in, sending them love and compassion. When enough of them had finished, they all were finally in a place where I could speak to them.
“I want you all to understand that you are each very much worthy of God’s love, that no one is ever in any position to judge you. It is my sincerest hope, that you can all feel the profound compassion overflowing from my heart. I am sending you all my love, and I wish I could hug every single one of you.
Sometimes we cannot know exactly why something like this happens. However, this moment, as we are all together I am offering you the healing of the Light of Compassion, the Light of Christ Consciousness and the hope that you can heal, that the love you have had for the children in each of your situations was not in vain, did not go unnoticed. Let no one judge you. I am offering you the hope that someday you will be able to cease judgment of yourselves. Perhaps in time, you will be able to forgive yourselves.”
The agony of each of their positions was staggering. I wanted to comfort each of them individually, to hug them. But I knew that only the true comfort of the angels and the transition to the Heaven World, would allow these women to begin to heal. My job was simply to assist them in their transition – and to hear their stories without judgment or prejudice.
I also explained that once they each crossed over with their angelic escorts, that there would be Divine Beings there who would help them understand the life just lived. The angels nodded to me that they were ready to escort these women to the other side when I gave the word.
The scene before me slowly but surely began to brighten as healing began to penetrate the very soul of each woman.
I watched as one by one, the warmth of the divine blankets allowed the women to stop crying, and to begin to stop punishing themselves. One by one the angels compassionately guided each woman into the light until the scene closed and they were all gone. It was my sincerest hope that eventually once they were on the other side they would each be able to be reunited with their children.

Epilogue
Mary’s headache left once I had finished assisting these souls. I found it such a revelation to be a witness to the spiritual and emotional burden that women of all ages have suffered over the centuries, with an unwanted pregnancy. Their guilt and grief was so tremendous that it lowered their soul frequency to a point that they could not cross over without help. I felt honored that I was able to assist them. I still have no idea how many women were helped that day. I suspected that it could have been thousands since I could not adequately count the women I could see. Also, once the angels appear, there is a great deal of chaotic energy between the angelic divine energy and that of the tortured souls. Eventually, with sharing their stories, healing blankets and the basic fact that they were each receiving attention, they were finally able to make that miraculous transition to the Heaven World. I always find hope in the gentleness, the tenderness and relief that the angels bring to each soul. Doing this work is extremely humbling.

******
I found myself impressed by Mary’s deep sense of empathy and her dedication to the service of assisting all of these women once I told her what had happened, and what was causing her headache. Mary is a tremendously compassionate person. Her kindness is based on the fact that she had experienced numerous miscarriages, and had lost a child due to a terrible illness. Perhaps because of these experiences, she was especially vulnerable to the plight of other women and they literally sought her out for help. We may never fully know for sure. However, her compassionate effort to help whoever was there was the most important element of her service.
       ********
Sometimes, you simply don’t know the entire story.

KS&L 394 The Service of Distributed Power Part 1 by Tina Erwin

Part 1: Learning that We Can All Help the Dead
The concept of distributed power is the idea that if you are the only one who can do something that you are limited in your power and scope, your ability to accomplish something. However, the concept of ‘distributed power’ means that if you take the power you have and share it, that you can then maximize that power on a much greater scope and have a much larger impact.
This is probably a pretty straightforward concept. No mystery here. But what if you have a unique power, an ability to do something that other people can’t envision, can’t imagine that they could do and then you teach them how to do it, then you share that power? Can you imagine how amazing that could be? If you are using your ability, your power for the service of others, what if you could empower more people to perform this same service, wouldn’t that be life changing?
I have come upon this not very new concept as a way of assisting those souls who are lingering here on earth, you know, your basic ghostly soul.
I talk to the dead. I help souls cross over into the Heaven World on a routine, day-to-day basis. It’s no big deal to me, I do it all the time, it comes with the territory of having psychic ability. I have chosen to use that ability for service. However along the way, I have come to understand that there is an astonishing number of people who do not cross over into the Heaven World when the breath of mortal life leaves their bodies. This is true, no matter what their age, their manner of death or how this person felt about themselves as they died.
Folks, there are billions of ghosts out there. Contrary to popular belief, most people do not cross over into the Heaven World. Most people linger for a million different reasons because some:
• can’t bear to be parted from a spouse, a sibling, a parent, a child.
• are guilty because of something he or she did or didn’t do in the most recent life time just lived.
• souls have no idea that they have died.
• are terrified of what will happen when they do cross over because they are convinced that the life just lived, was not necessarily their finest lifetime.
• have no belief system and even if they do see the light, moving toward it would involve an uncomfortable paradigm shift. These folks don’t think they’re ready for that!
• want revenge because they feel wronged by someone else and vengeance is their only focus.
• Have a tremendous belief system, but died such a horrific death that he or she simply cannot conceive of what to do next because the shock of this death is so great. They may actually know that they have died but are not sure what to believe about where they now find themselves.
And the list of reasons continues on and on. The bottom line is this: souls who are ghosts need assistance crossing over into the Heaven World. Everyone needs to feel that he or she has the power to help that person, that disembodied soul find the peace of spiritual release.
Have you watched these reality TV shows about Ghost Hunters? They are all desperately seeking a ghostly encounter and then when they find one they’re scared to death! Did I miss something here? Why are they looking for them in the first place if they are terrified of ghosts? What’s the point? Not on one single show has one quaking ghost hunter done anything to help the ghostly apparition they have just ‘found’. What’s the answer here?
The issue isn’t hunting ghosts, folks, they’re just not that hard to find. They’re pretty much everywhere. If you really want to find ghosts, just go to your local hospital. Ghosts walk the halls, ask any psychic. There’s a reason we all find a great deal of discomfort in hospitals, they are all profoundly haunted! There are hundreds of pastors, priests, chaplains, and rabbi’s walking those corridors passing thousands of souls and never turning to help them because they don’t know how and many don’t even believe in ghosts, but then people in ancient times thought the world was flat too. . . .
  So, back to distributed power.
There is a terrific book called Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View that has a prayer in the back of the book. This prayer is called: The Crossing Over Prayer and it’s purpose is to empower any person who finds the book to help any ghostly soul, whether you know the person or not. All you have to do is say the prayer. The prayer opens a pathway for light to come to the ghosts and angelic escorts to take them home.
This prayer is also located on my website: TinaErwin.com. Copy it down. Put it on your smart phone, print it out and carry it in your purse, share it with your friends. Tell everyone you know about this. This is the point. Let’s distribute the power to help the dead! Imagine how powerful this can be!
Can you imagine if every single real estate agent, all over the world asked their sellers if this prayer could be said to help all properties to feel healed? Can you just imagine how powerful this could be? Ghosts would not be haunting property anymore!
Imagine thousands of people quietly saying this prayer to themselves when they have that eerie feeling. This prayer will immediately connect that person to the Heaven World and will instantly offer help to perhaps thousands of souls who desperately need help.
Part 2 will explain why this service is so important and why distributing this power can change the world.

KS&L 391 Christmas Grief by Tina Erwin

(This KS&L was written before the Newtown sadness.)

This KS&L is dedicated to all families who are grieving or remembering someone who is no longer with them this Christmas.
Last night I received a call from my long time friend Bonnie. She had come upon a terrible traffic accident on her way home. She was first on the scene, called 911, worked with authorities, and rendered what aid she could to the accident victims.
She told me that she kept telling the on-scene police officers that she felt that there was a man by the side of the road who needed help. She had spoken with him and he said he was okay but that he had been the driver of the absolutely crushed car. She remembered marveling that he had ‘walked away’ from the accident since the car was not recognizable. The police officer kept looking at her, but he never once went over to talk to the man in the white shirt.
Once she returned to her car, her small children told her that the man in the white shirt had come to the car and knocked on the window, but they didn’t put the window down. Bonnie was glad that her kids did as they were told. Then she drove her kids home.
She called me later that night because she felt so much trauma after this experience that she needed help figuring out what was trauma and what was, well, something else. As it turned out, that something else was tragic.
The man in the white shirt had died in that crushed car. When Bonnie and I made contact with him he told us that he really didn’t know what happened.  One minute he was driving home and the next minute he was in darkness. He was utterly baffled by his circumstances. Bonnie and I had to inform him that he had died. He was very quiet for a few moments. Then he began to allow himself to face the towering grief that his sudden death was generating. He immediately told us of his young wife, his children and that this wasn’t how he planned to end his day. He didn’t feel that he was supposed to die that day. This is Christmas! He’d ruined Christmas for his whole family!  As he told us this, the grief he felt at his own death began to overwhelm him. We gave him the spiritual aid that he needed. Souls that are killed this quickly go into a kind of soul shock. We offered him angels, healing and a path home to the Heaven World. Before his transition, he said he had seen the light he just wasn’t ready to go. We also asked him why he knocked on Bonnie’s car window. He responded that he ‘felt’ someone praying for him. In fact one of Bonnie’s daughters was praying for anyone who had been injured. The light of her prayer attracted him to her car.
Finally, with our help, he reluctantly made his transition to the Heaven World. Then I helped Bonnie make some sense out of this event as she processed the trauma she had witnessed on several levels.

Both of us pondered this soul’s sudden demise, especially now, especially 15 days before Christmas. Christmas, more than any other time reminds us of how much we love all the people in our lives. Thanksgiving does this, but there is something about Christmas that really makes our heart expand as we ponder what to get those who mean so much to us. Our gifts show how much we love and care.
Christmas is also very much a children’s holiday. First time parents, long time parents and grandparents live for watching the bright faces of children as they become enamored of the lights on the tree, presents and the Santa Claus concept.
Christmas time takes each of us back to our childhoods to remember a particularly magical Christmas morning or a special gift or event that happened.
But for many people Christmas time is just tough. For this man’s family, Christmas will never feel the same. Instead of planning Christmas Eve, they will be planning a funeral.
Perhaps it seems odd to discuss such profound sadness at this time of the year, but life events, especially poignant life events are part of Christmas, even when they are sad. This man’s wife and children will have to determine how to balance their grief while others around them are excited about the holidays. This almost bizarre juxtaposition of these two diametrically opposite emotions reminds us that Christmas is about love, the love of those who are no longer with us.
Even if your friend or family member did not die at Christmas, their absence, even decades later, is still deeply felt at this time of year. It is often why so many people are sick at Christmas: colds/flu are the body’s way of grieving a past event.
It is better to admit that you miss that person. Bring it to the surface and then take some time to remember the soul with your heart filled with love for this special person. If a parent is without one of their children, this is an especially painful heartache. If that parent is your friend or family member please do not wish they he or she could just ‘get over’ that deep personal loss. You don’t ‘get over’ a catastrophic life event: you learn to live a life that includes that life-changing event. And when you include that life-changing event it means that you cry about it sometimes.
If any of you gentle readers find yourself either grieving the loss of someone special or helping a friend or family member to grieve this loss, welcome the tears that often come with heartfelt memories. Memories are alive and trigger emotion. We are not androids, emotionless bits of carbon. We are mortal, yet eternal souls having an exceptionally human experience. And human experiences demand that we acknowledge the love we have for someone who has left us today or fifty years ago.
Perhaps that is the message of Christ: love never dies, life is eternal and life everlasting means that we will all meet each other again and again. Let this dynamic concept be the best gift we can give each other at Christmas time, the gift of love and compassion for everyone including the ones who are no longer with us.
The Lightworker's Guide to Healing Grief and Ghost Stories from the Ghosts' Point of View are both great books to help anyone understand how to heal grief and how to help those souls who need assistance crossing over. Check out the prayer for assisting ghosts in the back of the ghost book. Both books are available on this blog.

KS&L 388: Why Did My Cell Phone Shatter? Part 2 by Tina Erwin

Within about three days, Rosalind and the other sales rep Courtney emailed us that things in the store had escalated and now there were far more ghosts in the store than before. Laura and I realized that we had to do something to help these women and all of those ghosts.
We asked them if they had left a book card in the back of the store. Why yes, they said, we did. Perhaps the card, combined with the willingness these women had shown to help lost souls, had been a winning combination for ghosts. This meant that I had to rethink the situation for these willing lightworkers. As the situation at the gorgeous handbag store escalated I decided that I needed to add something to our second Ghost Stories book to facilitate the transition of any ghost, anywhere, and at anytime. I needed to give not just these kind and compassionate women a useful tool, but anyone anywhere who feels haunted by a ghost, the most powerful tool possible to facilitate the crossover of those souls.
So I created a prayer. But this isn’t just any prayer this is a prayer that can help a soul to find the light. This empowers any living person to help any ghost anywhere, any time. So the ladies at the handbag store received the first and only version of this prayer. Their ‘mission’ was to use it to clear the store and then to get back to us.
And they did. They cleared that store of ghosts using this prayer! They didn’t need Laura and I to come in, or remote view to clear it. Now, they had the power and they used it.
So we experimented on using this prayer with other close friends and family members. And they keep it with them all the time. Some printed it out, some put it on their iPhone. It worked every time.
Apparently the book card and the eBooks (and eventually the physical book) can, in some situations, create something called a Light Bridge, which ghosts can see. The energy of this Light Bridge facilitates their crossing over into the light. Some won’t need the facilitation of the prayer and some will.
OK, I thought, so this must be why my iphone broke, to create this prayer.
But it wasn’t just this either.
Rosalind and Courtney continued to keep in contact with us. Courtney also decided to share the information with her medical doctor husband. Apparently her husband was bringing all kinds of ghosts home from the hospital. Courtney used the prayer to clear her home and noticed how much better things felt. She uses it every day now. Then she brought him to a lecture I was giving about ghosts. Her very skeptical husband was beginning to rethink things.
Obviously, that was the reason my phone broke, so that Courtney could clear her home and awaken her husband to a new paradigm of thought.
But it wasn’t just that either.
I held a meeting in my home to discuss a metaphysical topic and Rosalind and Courtney attended. They shared with the group how we all met. Later each shared how understanding the situation with ghosts had helped them. Then they began to ask more questions about exceptionally sensitive family members and how they could help them.
Okay this has to be the reason but it became even more amazing when Rosalind told us that she never works in that particular store. Actually she is a manager and had only ever been sent to that Fashion Valley store one time, before or since we met. She and Courtney had never met before that day. Now they are fast friends, sharing such an amazing experience.
I give up. Obviously my cell phone was supposed to break otherwise I would never have gone into that store with my friend Laura to kill a little time before getting my iphone replaced. Yep! Everything happens for a reason, or maybe two, or more. The chain of events set into motion by the shattering of that iphone screen still amaze me. I do look for the reason for things, but this one was, wow, amazing!

KS&L 387 Why Did My Cell Phone Shatter Part 1 by Tina Erwin

My kids think I’m really hard on phones.  They think electrically, I burn up the energy in phones. Who knows? Apparently, I’m hard on cell phones too. So when I went to upgrade my iPhone to the iPhone 4, I made sure I bought an Otter Box to encase it. I dropped my last phone and shattered the screen. It was so weird, one minute it was in my hand and the next it lay shattered on the ground. It still worked, but it was quite shattered. I still don’t understand how or why that happened. With my new phone, I was now smugly confident: I had an Otter box!
Well, I hadn’t had my new iphone 4 even six months when I was standing in my office holding it when somehow it was no longer in my hand and was now on the tile floor of my office profoundly shattered. The last phone was only cracked, this one was so broken it looked like the glass was pulverized – but it still worked.
I’m a somewhat spiritual person, but I was so angry! How could this happen to me twice? I allowed those moments of incredulity: that it happened twice and the second time the darn phone was in an Otter Box, the Cadillac of phone protectors – which didn’t work. So after I cooled down, had shaken my head, blown off steam to my sister and my friends, I began to wonder why did this happen to me? Why now?
Finally, I made an appointment with the Apple Store in Fashion Valley here in San Diego to have the screen repaired. I met my friend Laura there for lunch because she had broken something on her iphone and needed her appointment at the Apple store too. We got to the crowded Apple store early, so we decided to wander through a high-end handbag/clothing store somewhat across from the Apple Store to kill some time.
The ladies in the store were really kind, helpful and pleasant. As we were about to leave the store I decided to share one of the book cards for one of my newest books: Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View, Book One. It’s a gorgeous book card. When I handed the card to the tall blond woman who had so kindly helped us, she looked at me and seemed incredulous. She called her fellow employee over and showed her the card, so I got out another one. This woman’s eyes got big and she looked at Laura and I and told us that her store is haunted! Really? This upscale handbag store is haunted?  Laura and I looked at each other silently thinking… can our lives get any stranger?
Then other employees seemed to gather around us, each with their own stories of how haunted this particular store is.
One sales rep said that she felt creepy in the back of the store.
Another said that it looks and sounds like there are women going through the new clothes because you can see the clothes on the rack move like someone is going though it, but no one is there.
They asked us if we could see and remove the ghosts right then. Laura and looked at each other and said sure!
We each ‘looked’ in the environs of the store. I immediately saw a very creepy ghostly guy in the stock room; he liked to watch the pretty young women. He did not have good intentions. He wasn’t harming them in the strictest sense but his energy was very alarming. I immediately removed him. I had the impression that he had been homeless and exactly how he died was never clear. He did not have a long conversation with me. I simply had him removed and then I cleaned the energy of the back room.
I also saw two ghostly women sifting through racks and examining the clothes. It seemed to me that both of these women had died in some type of traffic accident and had ended up returning to a place that had brought each of them pleasure. They really loved shopping. I had them escorted to the Heaven World.
Laura saw the same things and together we cleaned the energy of the store and we could do all of this because the pretty blonde woman, Rosalind, who helped us was a manager and we had her permission.
The ladies asked us to sign the book cards. We told them to keep in touch in the event any more ghosts found their store. They all told us how unnerved that these ghosts had made them. None of them ever wanted to open or close the store. They had all heard the noises. We felt that this was amazing. When Laura and I compared notes, we realized that we both saw the same things. It’s really great when two psychics can validate what each other saw and then get the people being haunted to also confirm that what we saw was what they were all feeling.
Then Laura and I went to our appointment at the Apple Store, which we almost missed because we were so intent on helping the ghosts in the store across the way that we almost forgot why we went to Fashion Valley in the first place!
I just made it. But it cost me an additional $160 to completely replace that shattered phone since the screen couldn’t be replaced.  AARGH!! But then I thought, okay, this must be why this happened, so I could help these women in this store. I thought that was the end of it.
         But it wasn’t.
         More in Part 2!

KS&L 386 The Ghosts' Perspective by Tina Erwin

Sometimes when you have some modest level of psychic ability, you are blessed when you find that can use this skill in the service of others. Some psychics talk to the dead. Some tell futures, some predict dire events and some help the police department.
In my case, I discovered almost twenty years ago that I could actually see ghosts and assist them to cross over. At first, I didn’t fully realize how critical this assistance would become for those who have died difficult deaths. What kind of death would that be?
A difficult death is one where the soul may have killed him or herself, been murdered, died in battle or in an emotional place where the soul feels that somehow something about themselves isn’t worthy of God’s love. The energy of these souls, these predecessors of time gone by, impacts those of us living today.
In my studies of Feng Shui I became aware of predecessor energy, the energy of people who have lived on a spot of earth many centuries before the current owners. I came to realize how powerful negative predecessor energy ca be because of the manner in which it can tragically impact the current owners. Out of this understanding, I realized that usually, when a ghost ‘haunts’ a location, he or she or even a group of souls usually isn’t doing it to harass the current owners. The ghost is either there existing ‘psychically’ in the time in which they used to live, or the person has no idea that he or she has actually died. On rare occasions the soul does realize that death has come for them and he or she can still see mortal people in the current time.
Frankly, the more I studied the ghostly predecessors of the past, the more I realized what tremendous theme and variation exists in their reasons for not crossing over into the Heaven World. However, what they all had in common was a reason that crossing over seemed impossible for each of them. They needed help in their spiritual process because their method of death or their negative feelings about themselves at death made transition seem impossible. I also realized that if any psychic can see or hear a ghost, that soul has very probably, not crossed over into the light. I became chillingly aware that simply having a conversation with a ghost was not helpful to the ghost long term. Souls who are ghosts truly need help from the living.
Over the years while assisting many thousands of souls to make that blessed transition into the light of the Heaven World I heard their stories. Some stories were of judgment gone terribly wrong, some of horrific murders, some were of towering guilt and self hatred. As I shared these stories privately with family and friends, routinely each person would tell me that this perspective, this ghost’s perspective, was totally unique, something that he or she would never have previously considered.
So at the urging of friends and family, I recently published 3 books called Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View. Actually, they are Kindle Singles of seven short ghost stories each. (There is also a combination of these stories in physical book and ebook form: Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View Trilogy Volume One.) Each story explains what has happened to a particularly memorable person who has died, and why he or she hasn’t crossed over into the light. More stories/books will follow because I have volumes of these ghostly tales.
If you have a chance, I hope that you will take a moment to meet the first of many of these memorable characters: Annabelle, the seven-year ghost in pink pajamas carrying a butcher knife. Then there’s the civil war ghost in love with a living person and then of course there’s the controlling mother – but wait, I don’t want to spoil your experience! I want you to meet them, hear them and then open your hearts to each of their situations.
However, I do have to warn you that the reason that predecessor energy is so powerful is that the ghost’s experience is usually one of tremendous emotion and that dynamic energy is why you are feeling that ghost’s presence. Therefore, listening to and reading about their experiences may challenge you, unnerve you and hopefully move you as much as they have moved me.
I encourage you to read these stories with an open mind and a compassionate heart. Think about it: the compassion that each of these souls is requesting could be the very compassion that each of us would need to receive if that were us trapped as a ghost in another time and place.
Sometimes, it will take courage to read these true stories. I hope that each of you, who choose to read this amazing series of ghost stories, will never feel the same again about a ghost. Perhaps you will no longer be fearful of them, but will offer angels to help them. Such is the tremendous value of Light Work.
Finally, I would love to know which story touched your heart and why.

KS&L 364 Karmic Nobility

There is a questionable story that came out of the emotional rubble of the Japanese Tsunami of 2011. As the story goes, a young mother realized that she could not escape her home as the five-minute monster 9.0 quake shook her home to its very foundation. In desperation to save her three-month old son, she got down on all fours and placed the baby underneath her to protect him as her home collapsed on her body. Somehow she also managed to text him a message.

The story goes on to describe how rescuers found her body in the rubble, realized that she had perished and then quickly moved on to search other areas. However, the lead rescuer hesitated for some reason and had a nagging feeling that he should return to that particular house because this woman had been found in a rather odd body position. The others were in a hurry, but he urged them to return. As they pushed her lifeless form aside, there was her three-month old son sleeping safely underneath her. They quickly cleared the area to extricate him. It was at this time that they also found her cell phone and the message she had supposedly texted to him: if you survive this, remember that I love you.

As this story circulated throughout the internet, it was hard to read this account of love’s ultimate sacrifice without weeping. True or not, the sheer poignancy of this story moved many of us to almost instant tears. I admit it: I cried. Then I asked myself why I cried so readily. I pondered this throughout that day and the next. I shared the story with my husband and he instantly teared up [but then he has always been rather sentimental.] So I continued to ask myself what it was about this story that so moved me. Even after I discovered that the story might not be entirely true, I still found myself pondering my own reaction to it.

The answer that came to me repeatedly was quite simple really. It was the story’s elegant simplicity that so brightly stands out. There was a karmic nobility to this young mother’s actions. With each increasingly violent shaking, she had to know that she was dying, that her house would collapse around her, and yet she thought to try to save her son. In the face of the greatest challenge to her own survival, she set aside her own feelings, her sheer panic and thought of her son.

All of us want to know that our own mother loves us so much that she would sacrifice her life for us – willingly. The child in this story may have to grow up without her, but he will always know to the depth of his core, that she profoundly loved him.

But there is more to this [if it is true and I do not know if it is true], and that is why the rescuer returned to that house once he had determined that she had died. There was no logical reason for him to go back. Yet, he had a ‘nagging feeling’. What was that? Where did it come from? Was that feeling the mother, now a ghost, still watching over her son, even in death? Did she watch in horror as her son’s salvation moved away from her home? Was that ‘nagging feeling’ really the ghost mother screaming at the lead rescuer to return to the house? Could that be?

Perhaps my own tears were for that part of the story. Even in death, her loyalty, dedication and persistence prevailed. Literally, she was screaming at this man to save her son – and he did save the child. Perhaps only then could she find peace. Death does not stop the feelings of love that we carry within our souls for those we love. Nothing can change or alter those feelings. Life and death are only dimensions of reality: they do not define the limits of love.

This mom did not have the karma to have a whole life with her son this lifetime. However what she did have and what she did display were the finest elements of karmic nobility, the most golden elements of love that one human being, one immortal soul can have for another.

Book Excerpt: She Left the Light on For Me

The Following article is an excerpt from my new mini-ebook "His What is rising?" due out this fall.

Client: “I don’t believe in ghosts.”

Tina: “OK. No problem.”

Client: “I am a rocket scientist. I work for NASA and I want you to know that I really, really, don’t believe in ghosts. All that airy fairy stuff about spirits and haunted houses is just so much garbage in my opinion.”

Tina: “Sir, truly, I believe you. You don’t believe in ghosts. I get it. No problem. However, you called a psychic who removes ghosts, so are you sure you have the right number”?

Client: “Of course I have the right number! I’m talking to you about ghosts aren’t I?”

Tina: “Okay Mr. Rocket Scientist, I’m listening, so just why did you call me?”

Client: “My beautiful house in Ghent is haunted. I haven’t lived there very long but everyone tells me it is haunted.”

Tina: “Well, lots of houses in Norfolk are haunted, that’s nothing new. All of Virginia is haunted give or take a house here and there. What makes you think your house is haunted. And mind you, I know you don’t believe in hauntings, but something has unnerved you or obviously, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.”

Client: “I can’t seem to start any relationships. Every single time I bring a lady to my house, they get completely creeped out and leave immediately. Usually they aren’t in the house more than, a good five minutes.”

Tina: “Do they tell you why they are leaving so hurriedly? Surely they give you some explanation.”

Client: “One lady said that the house gave her the creeps. Another one said that she felt an angry presence near her. One lady I really like said that ‘someone blew cold air in her face’ and she literally ran out of the house.”

Tina: “Let me guess, you told her that there is no such thing as ghosts.”

Client: “Yes I did. She got mad at me, said she was not a liar and stormed out of my house.”

Tina: “Is that the only sign you have of a ghost; is there any other anecdotal evidence?”

Client: “No, there’s more. When I leave my house, I make sure that all the lights are off, especially the outside front porch light. Yet, every single night when I return that light is on. I know I didn’t turn it on. I even had an electrician look at the switch and the switch is fine. No one can explain why that light is always on when I return at night. I always turn it off, but the next night, it’s on again. Can you remove the ghost? Do you think I have a ghost?. . . .I can’t believe I’m even having this conversation.”

Tina: “I bet this is shaking all of your paradigms about life and death isn’t it.”

Client: “Shaking is an understatement. Will you help me?”

Tina: “Of course. I’ll get back to you.”

…. About a week later:

Tina: “Ah, Mr. Rocket Scientist, I am here to report that you did indeed have a very possessive, jealous female ghost. Neither you nor your lady guests are crazy.”

Client: “Who is it? How did she get here? Did you order her to leave at once!”

Tina: “Well, the problem is that she was in love with you and had been nuts about you since the moment you moved into your home. She has issues, issues that go back to the Civil War.”

Client: “You mean she’s been here since the 1860’s?”

Tina: “Yes, her name was Georgia and she was an old maid spinster who died as a result of the Civil War, lots of women starved to death or were brutalized by marauding, renegade soldiers from both sides. She, however, died in her forties of disease and this property was where her house stood. She has felt possessive of this land. She did not move into the light, or ‘cross-over’ because she felt cheated by mortal life and wanted to have more experiences. When you moved into the house, she literally fell in love with you and vowed that you would be hers and no one else’s!”

Client: “You mean she was trying to possess me?”

Tina: “She wanted a relationship with you and she did blow in the faces of your girlfriends and terrify them. She felt this was great ‘sport’ - how fast could she get each one to leave. She told me she turned on the light for you each night so you would somehow know that she was always there for you. Let me assure you, she wasn’t any too happy to see me when I came to remove her.”

Client: “Did you remove her?”

Tina: “Oh yes, she’s quite gone now. I moved her into the correct realm of the heaven world.”

Client: “I guess I realized that the ghost was gone, when the light wasn’t on for me the last couple of nights when I came home. The house felt oddly empty, like there had been a presence there and now it is gone.”

Tina: “You may want to invite your girlfriends back and tell them that you did believe them and you had her spiritually removed. They will appreciate your believing them and taking action.”

Client: “Thanks. Maybe I didn’t want to believe in ghosts. Maybe that shook my whole belief structure. I’m not sure how I feel but I am grateful to you for helping me, or, her or the situation.”

Tina: “You’re welcome. Always remember that there is no such thing as no such thing. Energy is neither created nor destroyed, so the energy of the animation of the human body has to go somewhere at death and that somewhere is into another dimension as a ghost. When a soul is assisted in crossing over into the 5th dimension, then they are no longer a ghost and their process of soul evolution and reincarnation, can reasonably continue.”

KS&L 350 Parenting Psychic Children Part 1

“My daughter sees ghosts, talks to plants and animals and discusses her past lives. I know she is ‘gifted’ but how do you parent a child like this? She freaks people out.”

“My son can see inside people’s bodies and tell them with pinpoint accuracy what their illness is and he just blurts it out. He can also see ghosts that haunt people. I have no idea how to guide him.”

“My little girl can close her eyes and project some type of energy to another location and hear what people are saying. Is this real? Can someone really do this?”

“My son sees ‘colors’ around people and becomes afraid when he sees certain hues. He also has nightmares and sees these ‘beings’ and comes running into my room terrified at night. What can I do to help him”?

Many children have varying levels of psychic ability. Fortunate are the children whose parents actually believe them and do not punish them for that they are ‘seeing.’ Many parents deny their children’s ability and accuse them of lying about these skills. Some religious extremist parents actually consider these abilities the work of the devil and do tortuous things to ‘drive the demon out’ of the child.

At the other end of the spectrum, are the parents who smugly claim that their child is ‘gifted’ or is an Indigo, Crystal, or Star Seed child. Some psychics will tell a parent that these types of children are Earth Angels, which by the way is not true. Humans can never be Angels. Many of these well-meaning parents have utterly no idea what to do with this supposed ‘gift’ or the child. Just how do you guide or parent a child who can routinely see through walls and doors, predict the future, talk to ghosts, or heal animals and humans? How do you parent someone with abilities you aren’t sure you believe in much less understand? The answer is: you parent them very, very carefully.

Psychic ability is not a gift. It is a responsibility for whoever discovers that they have this exceptional level of spiritual skill. It is a huge responsibility for the parents of such a child because it is critical that each parent respect their child and guide this child with hopefully, enlightened spiritual wisdom.

If you had a child who could sing, you would find a voice coach or a piano teacher if you had a music prodigy. Finding a teacher for a psychic child is fraught with challenges. However, there are some guidelines that can be used which will enable any parent to be able to tell if a teacher is the right one for their child and their family, because this teacher will be affecting an entire family.

The spiritual teacher should offer to teach the parents, not the child, thereby maintaining the sanctity of the parent’s role in the child’s eyes. It is a sad situation for a parent to feel almost incompetent in the face of a child’s huge psychic ability. Educate the parent and the entire family will know how to work and live with this unique family member. It is strongly suggested that no spiritual teacher ever work alone with a child under the age of 18. The primary influence in a child’s life must always be the enlightened parent.

• The parent has the right to an explanation for every single thing that the spiritual teacher is doing, as well as the consequences for various psychic actions that the child might take. In other words, the parent must make sure that he or she understands what the teacher is saying. An example of this is the medical intuitive child who blurts out what they see when he or she meets someone. The teacher has to explain to the parents some of the spiritual laws of healing and why the budding psychic child must respect the sanctity of someone else’s body and not just blurt out what they can ‘see’.

• Parents should educate themselves in as many aspects of psychic phenomena a possible and how psychic ability can be used or abused. There are many books that will help parents with these children but avoid those ego-feeding books about Indigo Children coming to save the world. Without discipline, training and a balanced ego, that child will be the pawn of a very dark intelligence and create serious harm to more people than they actually help. Psychic children’s missions are not yet known and they still have to function in a very ordinary, mundane world. Never feed a child’s ego or allow him or her to behave in a way that hurts someone else. The first spiritual law is to do no harm and sometimes that is an exquisitely fine line of discernment.

• The parents who do allow a spiritual teacher to work with their teenager, would be wise to always be in the room with the teacher so that they can understand exactly what is happening.

• Each Mom or Dad must believe in him or herself and in their own instinct and intuition. At the end of the day, it is this Mom or Dad who is morally and legally responsible for what this child does or says. This means that if the parent hears the spiritual teacher say or do anything that does not ring true, then the parent needs to find another teacher. An example would be the spiritual teacher who told a Mom that her child would have a dread disease if she, the spiritual teacher didn’t continue to work with the Mom, that only she [meaning the spiritual teacher] could help her. This is simply untrue and is blatant manipulation. Do not put up with this.

• Each parent must listen to his or her own Higher Self, must remember that good judgment and common sense always apply and that if what he or she is hearing does not ring true, leave! The spiritual teacher must always be able to show the science behind the words and tools used. Do not accept anything less.

• Psychic children seldom benefit from staunch religious beliefs that cannot embrace someone with these often, unfathomable abilities. If the faith that the parents embrace does not embrace psychic ability, then the parents may have to reevaluate what they believe, especially if they do believe in their own child.

• Good parents want to learn how to parent a challenging child and should never, ever be awed by what their child can do. Parents must hold on to their personal power by educating themselves constantly. Good parents can respect ability but understand that without education, diligence, discipline and a pure heart, any psychic ability is just so much grey magic at the least and black magic if abused. Just because your child can read minds does not mean that this is something that can be allowed.

Parents must pray for guidance for this child and for themselves. Parents who make a sincere request to God to place a competent and wise teacher in their path may be delightfully surprised with the result. These same parents must always show gratitude for the astounding opportunity to parent an intuitive human being who just might make a wonderful difference in the world.

KS&L 159 Ghosts Part 3 How Do You Know Your House Is Haunted?

What are the clues that a house is haunted? Some of them may surprise you.

A house does not have to be old or Victorian to be haunted. Often very new houses are haunted primarily because the entire development is haunted. This can happen, because of the land on which the project was built has the energy of previous owners, something called predecessor energy. The following illustration is from my own personal experience.

We bought an 18-month old house in a brand new subdivision in Charleston, South Carolina. Almost immediately things began to happen, but they were never dramatic enough to force us to move, which we later found out was true for most of our neighbors. The sounds of people walking in a non-existent attic were initially unnerving, but eventually they ceased. Over a seven-year period, we heard pounding on the door, we heard people sounding like they were washing dishes in the kitchen, but no one was there. We heard people running down a hallway, but all were accounted for. We had things vanish: a pearl earring, 4 sets of contact lenses, a gold bracelet, a wallet, a pair of shoes and the list goes on and none of these items were ever found. We heard tapping over our heads and of course the most unnerving was the feeling that someone other than my husband [who was in bed beside me] was holding my hand. One very cold morning we discovered that every door and window in the house was wide open. Unfortunately, moving was not an option until we had military orders to move.

Eventually we found out that virtually all of our neighbors had similar experiences. One lady had a two-story house and every morning she came downstairs and all of her furniture was rearranged and a rocking chair was rocking all by itself. She moved. Another family figured their house must have been built over a stable because they heard horses clomping all night. My neighbor’s jewelry vanished. In addition, her ceiling rained water but when she checked, the counters had raindrops on them, but the ceiling was in fact dry.

We discovered through much research that this was the site of the Archdale Plantation where an earthquake had occurred in the late 1700’s and killed many people. At that time, we did not know how to clear houses.

Other signs that your house is haunted include sensing movement out of the corner of your eye – when you know you are alone. Smells are a key sign that something is haunting your home. Some smells are in fact mold, but some have no cause and are due to a haunting. Lights coming on when you know you did not turn them on, or off is another unnerving piece of ghostly evidence.

Horrific events or predecessor energy can create a host of problems depending on what happened to the property, you are living on. This is why a new house can be just as haunted as an old house.

Sometimes a home is not haunted by ghosts but by dark energies and these signs include legal problems, water problems, constant fighting, house and car repair problems that have no specific cause, health problems that just don’t seem to heal. Depression, and financial problems are key indicators of this unique type of haunting. Sleeplessness, the fear that if you sleep at night, terrible things will happen but you can’t explain it to anyone. Odd behavior by animals is another indicator. Plants that die or have difficulty growing around your house, are also a classic sign.

Another major indicator is the feeling that your house feels dirty no matter how much you clean it. There just seems to be excess dust and dirt. This “dirt” is psychic and you can feel it. If you could see into the other dimension, it looks like black soot.

Dark hauntings can be caused by other actions, including doing Ouija, Tarot and Dungeons and Dragons. The insidious nature of the dark energy coming in is gradual. You don’t notice it at first. Once a door to the other side is opened, you need an extremely skilled person to permanently close that door and clear the darkness.

Houses that have been used as Methamphetamine production sites cannot be cleared by purely psychic means. They not only have dark intelligences and ghosts, they are also extremely toxic. The location has to be evacuated and the physical ground has to be healed and the toxic waste removed.

There are other signs, but these are the most obvious. In part 4 the process of clearing a location.
