KS&L 405 Compassion Fatigue by Tina Erwin

A bridges collapse, trains collide, planes crash, there is an earthquake, a tidal wave, a hurricane, a bus crash, a person goes crazy and kills many people and the list of calamities continues. Then there are friends and family members who develop cancer, a terrible illness, a debilitating fall, a car accident, someone’s child has leukemia. People are dying in a war somewhere. 22 military people commit suicide a day.
It is difficult to remember a time in history when there have been so many constant demands on our compassionate hearts. How can we hope to offer constant solace, endless care and the volume of prayers required to send help to all who so desperately need it?
I know I am not alone in feeling the emotional and spiritual weight of so much tremendous need.
At some point, it becomes important to recognize that conceivably the best you can do is to send healing to the world every day.
Many people do something as simple as say The Lord’s Prayer and send the wonderful energy of this prayer to the whole world, to all of nature for the benefit of everyone and everything. Perhaps it is the energy of these and other powerful prayers that keep most of going day to day.
We do not have to know all the people we are praying for nor do we know whom to thank for the prayers that benefit each of us. Suffice it to say that without prayer we would probably descend into barbarism.
If you make a practice, a spiritual practice of sending whatever modest prayers you can say and send them to the entire world, and then let go you can do tremendous service.    Perhaps that is the best that any of us can do in a world of often staggering grief. We are often left in disbelief at the sadly carved paths that occur daily into the emotion soul for so many people. Conceivably prayers are the way stations along the way for all of us so that this journey of healing isn’t so difficult.
This isn’t a very glamorous plan is it, saying a prayer every day? It feels like you’re trying to empty the Pacific with a teaspoon doesn’t it? But what if we all try this? What if we all do this, every single day, 365 days a year?
Maybe, just maybe, we can change the world.

KS&: 397 The Service of Distributed Power Part 3: Translating The Crossing Over Prayer© by Tina Erwin

The other morning I was struck by an incredible idea: what if we were to translate The Crossing Over Prayer© into every language we could?
What if we could distribute this wonderful power to all the peoples of the world?
Death is not proud, selective, sensitive or elite.
Death, that inevitable spiritual opportunity, will come to all of us in some way or other.
Death, that bringer of peace or pain, depending on your point of view, will visit every family at some point in time.
And Death will welcome millions and millions of bewildered souls into a whole new world.
Karma, the handmaiden of Death will help each of us decide what will happen when we leave our body and enter this strange, often chillingly, scary world of life after death. For some it will be brief, but others will languish there for an
interminable length of time.
Free Will, the last vestige of mortal/soul opportunity will help us to decide where we will venture next. Will we find that light of the divine and cross into the Heaven World, or will we stand bewildered in the darkness of disbelief and/or guilt and languish for a very long time as a misunderstood ghost/apparition/spirit?
The Crossing Over Prayer© is perhaps one of the very last tools that a mortal person can use to help a loved one to find that light of the Divine, no matter how that person died, regardless of their belief system or lack of thereof or their level of guilt.
Please help me if you can to translate this prayer into every language on the planet. Please help as many souls as possible to heal.
Translating is not as easy as it sounds. I could merely use Google Translate or iTranslate but I am looking for a human being who truly knows and loves their language and who is willing to put their heart into the translation. Few things are literal translations. However, if you would be willing to work with me, we can get this translated.
You will also receive credit for doing this. Helping with this translation carries with it a certain amount of karma. What this means is that every single time a person finds the TinaErwin.com site and uses The Crossing Over Prayer© in that language, a certain amount of what is called ‘distributed karma’ attaches. This means that a percentage of the wonderful energy of the prayer comes back to the translator. Everyone benefits. If you wish to translate this prayer and remain anonymous, that is also fine otherwise, I will list your name and location – with my profound gratitude. Please feel free to share this with other friends and family members. As translations come in, they will be added as ‘buttons’ on TinaErwin.com
Here are the languages I currently have translated:
       Arabic
       Farsi
       Hebrew
       Italian
       Spanish
       Turkish

These are the languages I need translations for The Crossing Over Prayer©. If you are interested in translating this prayer, please contact me at Tina@TinaErwin.com

The Crossing Over Prayer©

by Tina Erwin

The following prayer is an excerpt from the book series, Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View, and is designed to help you help any ghost to cross over into the Heaven World.  If you see or sense that you are being haunted, you can say this prayer with conviction to send them to where they need to go.
The Prayer:  Sending Ghosts to the Heaven World
  Dearest Lord Above,
I humbly request that you take
any and all souls, who have found
my divine light of service, into
the Heaven World, right now.
I ask that an angel wrap each
soul in a blanket of healing light,
right now.
I pray that every single soul
will use the Light Bridge provided
by my Angelic Team, to transition into the
Heaven World, right now.
I send love and healing to all souls
no matter how they died, no matter
their level of guilt, without any judgment
or prejudice whatsoever, right now.
May the light of your love, Father,
embrace and keep all of these souls
now and forever.
Amen.

Whenever Two or More of You Are Gathered

We often forget that there is a tremendous power in prayer; a strength in faith and a hope in the promise that even in dark moments, we are not alone. The true story below is an amazing demonstration in the power of prayer, belief and courage. Truly, the women in Jacquie Hagler's house demonstrated all of these uplifting qualities. Perhaps the most astonishing element is the look on the thief's face as the women were asking for help from Christ.
Depending on the version of the bible you are using, the following phrase believed to be said by Jesus, is often quoted in Matthew 18:20 and is directly applicable in this remarkable story:

"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
******************************************************************************

An armed robber interrupted a jewelry party in Lake City, Fla., on Friday but left empty-handed after the women in attendance began chanting the name "Jesus," according to police.

The suspect, who was later identified as 24-year-old Derick Lee, allegedly invaded the home of Jacquie Hagler during a Premiere Jewelry party attended by between 14 and 18 people (there are conflicting accounts between News4Jax.com, local police and Hagler about the exact number).

While wearing all dark-colored clothing, including a bandana to cover his face and a ski cap on his head, Lee allegedly entered the room where the party was occurring, pointed a handgun at the women and told them to give him their money and phones.

Thinking it was a practical joke and a part of the party, one of the women pushed the gun away and said, "It's only a water pistol." Lee then yelled at them, telling them he was going to shoot somebody and that it wasn't a joke. The women took him seriously after he showed some of them the bullets that were already loaded in the gun, Hagler told The Christian Post on Monday.

"The boldness of the Lord came up in me," said Hagler. "I stood up and I just pointed to the door that he'd came in from. I said, 'Get out of my house in the name of Jesus.'"

He threatened them again, and she told him to leave once more before the rest of the women in the room began to repeatedly shout the name "Jesus." Lee briefly looked around the room while they shouted, though Hagler says he did not appear to be looking directly at any of the women.

"I promise you, I believe he saw angels. I think he saw who was on our side, and he just turned around. The look on his face was just, like, astonishment. He was totally captivated by whatever he saw. He just turned around and ran out the door," she said.

Based on the description of the man provided by the women, Lake City police officials came up with two possible suspects living in the immediate area. Several of the women identified Lee in a photo lineup as the man who had threatened them.
Lee is also a suspect in a separate robbery attempt that occurred while police were investigating the home invasion later that evening. A 62-year-old woman said a man dressed in all dark-colored clothing, including a ski cap and bandana, pointed a gun at her and tried to rob her after she used a walk-up ATM. She yelled at the man, however, and he fled on foot.

Officers arrested Lee just a few hours after the incident at Hagler's home. He was booked at the Columbia County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond for home invasion robbery.

"We're just praising God that He's getting all this glory, and that Jesus' name really, it has authority," said Hagler. "And He says His Word is true and He says He'll be there for you in [the] time of trouble. When you call on Him, He'll be there."

KS&L 393 I Predict. . . by Tina Erwin

We’re starting a new year, and all kinds of people are going to be making their predictions for the coming months, so I thought I’d throw in my predictions as well.
Let’s see, what does my crystal ball say? But first, which one do I use? I have hundreds of crystal balls: rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, and citrine, but wait, I’m getting distracted. I think clear quartz will do.
As seers of old have done, I gently wave my hand over the ball as if I want to almost smell the various stenches of some coming of events as well as the glorious aromas of others. What will the future of this year be like?
Well, I can smell the stench of corruption, grief and sadness in several places. The mists of future time are clearing:
         • I see corruption in a government agency!
         • Some type of corruption will be uncovered in at least one major bank. What a shock that will be!
         • A union organization somewhere will ‘mishandle’ pension funds.
         • Senators and Congressmen of both parties will have several of their ‘esteemed’ members get caught drunk driving, be involved in a sordid scandal of some kind or will be bought by a lobbyist. Imagine that!
         • I predict that more people will ‘snap’ and that more shootings will take place because the frequency of the planet is rising and no amount of legislation will stop it. No law or drug can cease the endless pain, profound abandonment and smoldering anger some people are now feeling at ever-increasing intensity levels. When that emotion erupts, people around that person will be hurt and that will include strangers, friends and family.
         • A jealous husband will kill his wife.
         • An amazing number of people will discover a spouse’s infidelity, become divorced and struggle with grief and anger.
         • People will die of all kinds of cancer.
         • The Middle East will find itself embroiled in strife, the same strife that I have witnessed my entire life as I have watched this part of the world.
         • There will be several major earthquakes.
         • There will be severe flooding in some part of the world that creates disaster.
         • There will be water events [hurricanes, tsunamis, typhoons and perfect storms] along coastal areas of the world that will destroy thousands of home – again.
         • Many people will compromise their integrity for money. People can be bought.
         • Thousands more ‘messy’ trees will be chopped down because people can’t be bothered with nature. Habitat will continue to be destroyed.
         • Arrogant scientists will continue to tinker with Mother Nature and irresponsibly ignore the super weeds, super insects and diseased people they are creating, not to mention the destruction of natural elements.
         • Doctors will continue to maim small children with vaccines and then look bewildered at the tragic aftermath.

There is balance in everything. Now let’s look at the more aromatic and hopeful events that the crystal ball can sense:
         • The government will still continue to pay out social security, veterans benefits and help people with disabilities.
         • Non-corrupt charities (and they do exist) will continue to help people in crisis, and on a daily basis, when it isn’t Christmas, and when it isn’t news. Non-profits around the world will continue to go about their giving business with care and integrity. Americans, the most generous people on earth, will continue to give to those less fortunate.
         • Families will continue to love one another, giving joy and sharing sorrow. The stronger the family unit, the healthier each individual family member will be because each will be in resonance with the other healthy members.
         • People everywhere will seek to ‘get ahead’ to rise to a better place then they were previously, or last year or last week. Without the hope of a better tomorrow, there is no point in getting out of bed.
         • There will still be glorious sunrises and sunsets.
         • Beautiful children will continue to be born to parents who love them and embrace their futures together.
         • Couples will fall in love this year, some will get married and wake up to learn about each other and the adjustment that marriage always brings.
         • Some people will survive astonishing accidents where they should have died. They will be changed and will grow.
Millions and millions of people will pray, every day. This prayer energy will be what keeps the world going, what opens people’s hearts and allows spiritual progress to take place.
         • Restaurants the world over will safely feed all of us who are tired of cooking, can’t cook or who are traveling.
         • Caregivers everywhere will get up to face another day of helping someone who desperately needs their help.
         • The airline, train, and ocean going industry, will continue to operate their planes, trains and ships in an overwhelming safe manner. We trust them with our lives.
         • New electronic gadgets will come out to amaze and delight us and challenge us to keep up with technology. They also invite us to ponder however we managed without them!
         • People who have harmed nature, will be balanced by those who have greatly embraced nature and who will risk their lives protecting it.
Good and bad things will continue to happen this year. Those aren’t hard to predict. However, there is a sense of security, of hope in the thought that some things will continue to be what they have always been and that others can change. Every single day is an opportunity to help someone else, to right a wrong or to stand up to something that simply isn’t right. This is who we are, who we want to be and why the world is still in one piece, because each of us has the opportunity that mortal life provides to make a difference in everything we do.
I predict that if you are reading this, that you are one of those people who will definitely make a difference in the lives of many this coming year.  Happy New Year!

KS&L 387 Why Did My Cell Phone Shatter Part 1 by Tina Erwin

My kids think I’m really hard on phones.  They think electrically, I burn up the energy in phones. Who knows? Apparently, I’m hard on cell phones too. So when I went to upgrade my iPhone to the iPhone 4, I made sure I bought an Otter Box to encase it. I dropped my last phone and shattered the screen. It was so weird, one minute it was in my hand and the next it lay shattered on the ground. It still worked, but it was quite shattered. I still don’t understand how or why that happened. With my new phone, I was now smugly confident: I had an Otter box!
Well, I hadn’t had my new iphone 4 even six months when I was standing in my office holding it when somehow it was no longer in my hand and was now on the tile floor of my office profoundly shattered. The last phone was only cracked, this one was so broken it looked like the glass was pulverized – but it still worked.
I’m a somewhat spiritual person, but I was so angry! How could this happen to me twice? I allowed those moments of incredulity: that it happened twice and the second time the darn phone was in an Otter Box, the Cadillac of phone protectors – which didn’t work. So after I cooled down, had shaken my head, blown off steam to my sister and my friends, I began to wonder why did this happen to me? Why now?
Finally, I made an appointment with the Apple Store in Fashion Valley here in San Diego to have the screen repaired. I met my friend Laura there for lunch because she had broken something on her iphone and needed her appointment at the Apple store too. We got to the crowded Apple store early, so we decided to wander through a high-end handbag/clothing store somewhat across from the Apple Store to kill some time.
The ladies in the store were really kind, helpful and pleasant. As we were about to leave the store I decided to share one of the book cards for one of my newest books: Ghost Stories from the Ghosts’ Point of View, Book One. It’s a gorgeous book card. When I handed the card to the tall blond woman who had so kindly helped us, she looked at me and seemed incredulous. She called her fellow employee over and showed her the card, so I got out another one. This woman’s eyes got big and she looked at Laura and I and told us that her store is haunted! Really? This upscale handbag store is haunted?  Laura and I looked at each other silently thinking… can our lives get any stranger?
Then other employees seemed to gather around us, each with their own stories of how haunted this particular store is.
One sales rep said that she felt creepy in the back of the store.
Another said that it looks and sounds like there are women going through the new clothes because you can see the clothes on the rack move like someone is going though it, but no one is there.
They asked us if we could see and remove the ghosts right then. Laura and looked at each other and said sure!
We each ‘looked’ in the environs of the store. I immediately saw a very creepy ghostly guy in the stock room; he liked to watch the pretty young women. He did not have good intentions. He wasn’t harming them in the strictest sense but his energy was very alarming. I immediately removed him. I had the impression that he had been homeless and exactly how he died was never clear. He did not have a long conversation with me. I simply had him removed and then I cleaned the energy of the back room.
I also saw two ghostly women sifting through racks and examining the clothes. It seemed to me that both of these women had died in some type of traffic accident and had ended up returning to a place that had brought each of them pleasure. They really loved shopping. I had them escorted to the Heaven World.
Laura saw the same things and together we cleaned the energy of the store and we could do all of this because the pretty blonde woman, Rosalind, who helped us was a manager and we had her permission.
The ladies asked us to sign the book cards. We told them to keep in touch in the event any more ghosts found their store. They all told us how unnerved that these ghosts had made them. None of them ever wanted to open or close the store. They had all heard the noises. We felt that this was amazing. When Laura and I compared notes, we realized that we both saw the same things. It’s really great when two psychics can validate what each other saw and then get the people being haunted to also confirm that what we saw was what they were all feeling.
Then Laura and I went to our appointment at the Apple Store, which we almost missed because we were so intent on helping the ghosts in the store across the way that we almost forgot why we went to Fashion Valley in the first place!
I just made it. But it cost me an additional $160 to completely replace that shattered phone since the screen couldn’t be replaced.  AARGH!! But then I thought, okay, this must be why this happened, so I could help these women in this store. I thought that was the end of it.
         But it wasn’t.
         More in Part 2!
