Memorial Day - The Purpose of Remembering

We must never forget what World War II was about. 73 million people died in that war. However, the following album seems to condense the horror and the purpose of why so many fought so hard for those who died.

The Only Surviving Album of Auschwitz - Historic Photos

How easy it is for us to forget. Our young people did not live during World War ll, so it is left up to us to make sure the world will never forget.

Please watch this video.

It is the story of a Hungarian Jewish woman who survived Auschwitz and found a coat belonging to a guard which she took to shield her from the cold immediately after her liberation. In the pocket of this coat she found a photo album. It contained pictures of what went on in this extermination camp.

Imagine her reaction when she saw a picture of herself coming off of the train as well pictures of her family who were already murdered.

Share it and know about it. It is truly moving and important.
