KS&L 310 House Creep Part 1

Everyone is living very busy lives these days and managing a house of any size is a challenge. The busier you are, the more easily House Creep can begin to take over.

House Creep is that unseen, unheard, unnoticed take-over of things in anyone’s house [or yard, or car or office] by – well, the House Creep. House Creep is a feeling, a person, an action and a sense. It starts everywhere and nowhere, all at the same time. So, let us examine a typical day and see what and how this is.

You wake up, begin to do hair, makeup or, shave and then dress. You are busy, so you don’t make your bed. You stumble over the shoes you took off from the night before, as you look for a scarf or tie a to wear. You have to rummage through a pile of clothes to find it, desperately wishing that you had put it away, the last time you used it. You can’t remember if the clothes on the pile are clean or dirty. Can’t find what you are looking for, so you pick out something else. You almost trip on the wet towels from last night. You are now late, so you hurriedly remove your nightclothes and they drop to the floor. Your dog smiles at you and curls up in your nightclothes, happy to find a still warm bed that smells delightfully like you.

As you dash into the kitchen for a quick breakfast there are dishes in the sink from last night’s broiled fish. Lovely scent that is! Well, you’re too busy to clean that up now. Gulp down tea or coffee, swallow yogurt or a breakfast bar and off you go to the car. More dishes left in the sink.

Your car smells like the previous day’s sour coffee, left over from yesterday morning when you had no time at all for breakfast. As you throw you briefcase in the passenger’s seat, you notice the mail you forgot to bring in the house last week. To your horror, you notice that your credit card bill is due. Have to take care of that later.

You toss your breakfast bar wrapper on the floor of your car and hurry into work. Your desk Creep greets you: the paper piles precariously perched in such a threatening way are cause for concern. Heaven help you if you have an earthquake, you’ll never find anything again!

You return home at the end of the day, exhausted from the work pace and the clutter that surrounds you and everyone else you work with. You plop down in a chair and turn on TV. However, you cannot enjoy your TV show, because you smell sour milk. Finally you realize that that smell is coming from the glass on the table next to you that you didn’t finish before you went to bed. You couldn’t find it at first because it was covered with newspapers.

You go upstairs to put on something comfortable and you drop your clothes on the floor, too exhausted to determine whether they are clean or dirty. Once on the floor, though, they are going to smell like dirty clothes for sure, especially after the dog nests in them.

Time to make supper, so you have to clean up last night’s dishes to even get to the sink. You wipe away the ants who have invaded the fish smell. You decide that you have to do better because it is no fun to live like this. There are piles of papers everywhere, there is just ‘stuff’ all over the place whether it is magazines, newspapers, overcoats, sweat pants, smelly work out clothes and mats, possibly toys and on and on. You can’t remember the last time that any of your counters, your car or heaven help you, your garage were clean.

If you have a spouse and kids, you also have multiple House Creep and creeps. Add to this mix, your animals. Didn’t make your bed? Maybe your cat left you a hairball as a present on your pillow. Cats, bless them, do that.

As the House Creep escalates, you find that your house feels dirtier and messier, and you feel like you have less and less time. As a subtle sense of loss of control grows, you find you are becoming increasingly irritable with the creepy way your life looks to you and you are not at all happy with your finances. AARGH! Time to kick the Creep out!

Part 2: removing the Creep!

KS&L 309 The Science of God

There are those who can easily separate the spiritual world from the world of science. Many people believe that science has absolutely nothing to do with God, that God is somehow neatly separated from the world of logic and fact. However, one has only to study the world of nature to see the hand of God in every single element that is life itself.

God is the first scientist, mathematician, chemist, geologist, astrophysicists, psychologist, sociologist, musician, biologist, physician and metaphysician. God is all science, all math and all elements of the humanities, because God is ultimately, all of everything.

The truest metaphysician, and a metaphysician is one who studies that which is beyond known physics, understands that to begin to know God, you have to know science. God and science are one. You can no more separate them than you can separate the night from the day. The irony is that the very fact that human beings do not ‘know it all’ proves that there is a vast universe of knowledge that was/is divinely inspired. Inspiration literally comes from that spark of divine connection that allows us a peak at the larger picture. But can we prove to those diehard separatists that there is only the light of the Divine in the study of the ‘hard’ sciences? Of course we can!

Ultimately, everything in all of life is a function of a mathematical formula. Every single thing that exists is part of a larger [math] pattern. As an example, look at any fern leaf as it is all curled up, or a pine cone spiral, or a sunflower seed pattern, a chambered nautilus, a humble snail shell or a pyramid, and the Milky Way galaxy to name just a few. What they all have in common is the following mathematical formula: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21 . . . . which is called the Fibonacci sequence, or number. This purely math formula, this elegant element of essential science exists throughout the Universe. How is this possible if not divinely inspired?

All existence is math, from the frequencies of light, color, sound and smell to the densities of minerals, the math of plants and the perspectives of literally moving through the air from one point to another. Look around you. Every single thing is math and can be described by some type of math formula. That discipline, that consistency, that perfection is ultimately Divine.

What about human beings? What causes the human heart to beat for the first time? Where does the energy come from, that allows that to happen? How can the human body be one astounding math and science experiment? How can the human brain balance the requirements to understand complex math calculations as well as the emotional tenderness required to love another human being? How do we know how to do that? Is human and animal instinct just another word for math programming – with an emotional heart? What is the math of emotion?

What of architecture? Isn’t architecture the mathematical inspiration to energetically shape space? The more mathematically balanced the space, the better we each can feel, physically and emotionally.

How can it be that energy – no matter what it’s form - can neither be created nor destroyed? Why is it utterly impossible to give a scientific definition of energy itself? Even the United States Navy, in their training classes, explains that energy is not definable by itself. Energy is explainable only by how it relates to everything else. Perhaps energy is only as definable as God is definable and we are all still working on that.

As we each seek to take greater steps on our spiritual path, perhaps it is a good idea to look for the science in our spiritual moments, the math in the mundane elements of our days and the inspired ideals of our own individuality. We are all God inspired, mathematically perfect science projects. Perhaps looking at life that way will offer a new spiritually scientific perspective on the way we view even life itself.

Gall Bladder Information

Frequently ours is a society that eats really fatty/salty foods, it is good to know that there are some natural remedies just in the food we eat. My sister shared this. Thanks Andrea!

And the Beet Goes On

It's really important to make friends with beets as they are one of the best foods for the gallbladder.
Beets are helpful in fat digestion, decongesting the gallbladder AND liver and thinning the bile. Not too shabby for a lowly root vegetable!
The bile has several functions in the body.
One is to break down the fat in the food we ingest. It is an emulsifier (detergent) that cuts through the fat like detergent cuts through grease, breaking it up into smaller molecules which the body can then distribute for other uses in the body.
Bile also helps with the elimination of toxins from the liver. For example, if you breathe in exhaust fumes from a car or a plane, or if you breathe in dust, it goes down into your lungs where your blood picks it up and deposits it into the liver. The liver filters the toxins from the blood and dumps them in the bile for removal. The bile takes them into the intestines for elimination. If the bile gets thick like cream and/or begins to form sludge, and does not flow smoothly, this indicates that the fat metabolism is deficient. If someone is not metabolizing fats and eats a fatty meal, they will start to burp immediately. This is a symptom of gallbladder trouble. So it is important to keep the bile thin and beets are one of the best foods to do that.
Every part of the plant is useful to the gallbladder. So don't throw out the greens!
Steam them as you would Swiss chard or spinach, add a little lemon juice and salt and eat with other vegetables. They are good served with the beet roots or at a separate meal.
Beets can be steamed, boiled, roasted with olive oil and rosemary. My favorite is partially boiled, partially steamed whole beets, in the skin. (Remember that most of the vitamins and minerals are found in the skin so you do not want to throw that out. Just be sure to buy organic.) Then I slice them and sprinkle fresh lemon juice and a little flax oil over them.
Be advised that eating beets or drinking beet juice can be a little alarming if you've never eaten them before. Expect pink urine and dark red stools. This is, after all, the color of beets! Don't worry, it's normal. It is actually a good way to clock transit time of the bowel. If you note when you ate them, you can see how long it takes for the red stool to appear. What's normal? 18 hours is ideal, but everyone's body is different.
Of course, if you are just can't stand beets, we have them concentrated in pill form for you. The whole plant is in there, root, stems and leaves.
Here's a different way you can use your beet tablets. Something not well known about beets is that they help in the conversion of fat to blood sugar which means they are a good food to eat with a fatty meal (which none of you are eating any more) and which also means they can help with hypogylcemia.
Try this. Take 2 beet tablets mid morning and mid afternoon, when you would normally start thinking of a snack. Chew them, preferably. This can help to balance your blood sugar and help to ward off sugar cravings. It also helps to decongest the liver and gallbladder when taken on an empty stomach this way, rather than with a meal when it helps more with digesting.

And the beet goes on...

Debbie Graefer

??DID YOU KNOW??
...that beets are helpful in converting blood fat to sugar? This makes them a good food to eat with a meal that contains fat. It also means they can help hypoclycemia.

WHAT OTHERS SAY
"I started the Gallbladder Starter Kit a month ago and I've lost weight - happy with that - 8 lbs! Some of that is because I don't feel good if I eat a big meal -- which is a good thing. I can't say I mind that too much. I lost the bloating too. I look better than I've looked in 10 years!
The Phos Drops work great. I take them whenever I don't feel good. My husband has also changed his diet - we're both eating better."

Essential Oil Uses: Valor and RC

The following are testimonials from people who have used these two oils for various issues. I cannot tell you for sure that they are true, but I can say that essential oils, especially these two blends from Young Living Essential Oils are really fantastic. In these testimonials, they discuss fear, which lives in the kidneys along with grief. Perhaps they can help release fear, and grief.

Essential Oils raise your frequency. The higher your personal frequency, the less likely you are to become sick, injured or depressed. Good essential oils help keep you in a physically and emotionally balanced place.

Valor and R C Testimonials
I have been using Valor daily on the bottom of my feet
because of what Dr. LeAnne Deardeuf mentioned about
how she used Valor oil when she first began using
Young Living Oils. She put 1 or 2 drops of Valor on the
bottom of her feet every day.
After about 3 months, she had a release of 35 pounds of
excess water weight in one day. She explained that the
word valor means courage and courage is the opposite of
fear. The kidneys hold the emotion fear. The Valor had
released her of all kinds of fear which let go of water
which was probably a protection for her.
Well, I have been using Valor daily since August 26th. I
did release some excess water but I didn't notice a
number in weight. I tend to avoid the scales. ; ) I know I
released some water because I am noticing it in my
shoes. They were tight before but now they are loose. I
hadn't thought of it but when I was running through the
airport, I had trouble keeping them on.
It was at the airport where I really noticed some BIG
changes in myself. Actually I noticed it weeks before the
trip. I usually hate traveling anywhere by plane. I
generally have all kinds of anxiety about flying. During
the weeks before the trip, I kept wondering when the
anxiety would set in. It never did. I was happy and
excited to be going on the trip.
Once I got to the airport, I was having NO FEAR!
Normally I would get irritated if anyone would talk to me. I
was focused on surviving the trip and would ignore
people. This trip was different. I was calm and talking
with people along the way. Another thing that I is different
is that I actually slept on the plane. Before I would have
never been able to relax enough to sleep.
The whole trip was just wonderful and free of stress. I
don't ever remember enjoying a trip so much and feeling
such peace.
This reduction fear has shown itself in other areas of my
life. I am finding myself doing things that, in the past, I
would never have been able to do.
No anxiety attacks!!! I haven't had any at all in a couple
of months. I would get them in association with things
that don't feel comfortable doing. I have always had the
ability to press on and do things in spite of my fear but
now I am doing things with NO FEAR!! I am so loving the
way I am feeling since using Valor daily.
Valor is an oil I think everyone needs, especially if you
are dealing with things that cause stress. If you haven't
tried Valor yet, you've got to experience it. It's
AWESOME! Ellen

R.C. Testimonials
I have an employee who has suffered with chest
congestion for quite awhile. Knowing I'm into oils, she
finally admitted her doctor's advice was not clearing up
her congestion and asked if I had anything for her. I
immediately pulled out my RC and handed it to
her, told her to put it on her chest and throat. She did,
returned to her case (she is a rural mail carrier), and
continued to do her work. About 1.5 hours later, she
was ready to leave to deliver the mail, so I handed her
the RC and told her to reapply the oil.
When she got back several hours later from her cold, wet
day, she came to me all excited and said she had not
coughed the entire time she was out in her jeep!
I had her apply some more to get her through the night.
The next morning, she reported she had slept soundly,
with no coughing. Julia

My dad had bronchitis a couple of weeks ago. He was
so congested he couldn't lay down to sleep and had to sit
in a chair. In the morning I used two drops of Raven on
his feet and two or three drops of RC on his chest and
back. At night I switched and used RC on the feet and
Raven on the chest and back. Within two applications
his congestion was completely gone and his cough had
stopped. I used peppermint on the bottom of his feet for
the fever. Vanessa

Yes, Yes Yes, my very first true miracle healing
happened with my second oil order 3 years ago when I
had an ever progressing bronchitis, that totally
zapped me. I read about RC and used it as soon as it
and my diffuser came. I put the RC in the diffuser,
rubbed some on my chest, my feet and inhaled
from my hands, had my husband put some on my back,
ran the diffuser for 1 hour that evening as I went off to
sleep. (husband unplugged it later) I slept through the
night for the first time in weeks, no coughing and I woke
up the next morning with not even a trace of the misery I
had for over 3 weeks.
I also recommend that the person drink lots of distilled or
purified water, do a bowel cleanse especially if he or she
used medications. Get rid of the toxins, get rid of the
residues in the system, clean the colon, don't let a
clogged bowel reabsorb all that taxic material.
Yes, RC works wonders. If you do not have it, use any of
the oils you have. Raven, Peppermint, work well also.

KS&L 308 Opening Your Heart Charka

Those who find themselves on a spiritual path, often seek to understand the chakra system. Chakra means wheel in Sanskrit and if you could see this wheel, it would look like the lens of a camera. This is important because the lens of a camera has a very specific way of opening: each ‘petal’ of the lens is separate, distinct and quite fragile. It opens by way of the ‘eye’ of that lens opening either a little or a lot. How and why the lens of any charka opens is a function of how an individual’s physical, mental, emotional and spiritual body functions as well as its overall state of health.

The human body literally has dozens of chakras in it, but the main ones people are familiar with are more readily understood to be in the hands and feet, the root or sexual area, the spleen area, the solar plexus [just under the breast bond] area, the heart, throat, third eye [in the middle of your forehead] and the crown chakra. There are others, but the focus of this discussion is the heart chakra.

Whether a person knows it or not, everyone is on a spiritual path. Some people are very aware of this and seek to understand all that they can. Often you will hear someone say that in order to become more ‘spiritual’ they need to open their heart chakra. Literally they are seeking to force open their heart chakra so that they can accelerate their progress on their spiritual path. The acceleration all of us feel in today’s world also permeates the world of the spiritual seeker, which is possibly why many very dear, very conscientious people feel this deep need to understand life, love and God more.

However, you cannot rush the spiritual life. To become spiritual, you have to be spiritual in each moment you are in and you have to allow all the aspects, elements, dimensions and facets of your body and your soul to come into balance with where you are seeking to be spiritually. This is a truly tall order for anyone. Rushing this process reverses at the worst, delays at the least, your progress on the spiritual path and one of the worst things anyone can do, is force open that heart charka.

Your heart charka is best described as a delicate rose bud, and this analogy is true for men and women. Any effort to force a rose bud to bloom, by manually pulling back the little green covering on the bud, or force feeding it fertilizer, or of over watering, or fussing with the bud will cause the bud to simply die and drop off. The rose bush itself, the body of the rose bud soul will just not produce another ‘soul offering’, until all the conditions are right for the production of another rose bud. Even then, the bud will not bloom until all the conditions for blooming are in perfect balance: there is the correct amount of food, water, warm enough air temperature and finally, the key ingredient for blossoming: light!

The opening of anyone’s heart charka is purely predicated on the amount of spiritual light that has entered that person’s heart combined with having all the other facets for opening in perfect balance. This means that physically the person can handle the flood of powerful [often tearful] emotion that comes when this charka is opened. Mentally, the person is wise enough to handle the information that can come with this action. Emotionally, the person is stable and balanced enough to withstand the powerful energy that will come to them. And finally, spiritually, the person has advanced enough to be able to use the knowledge and experience of an open, heart chakra compassionately, wisely and conservatively. Perhaps you can see now why none of this can be rushed.

Trust the process. When conditions are right, all of our hearts will open to the Divine, but this will not happen for all of us at the same time. It happens to us individually when conditions are just perfect, when we are ready on every level for the tremendous responsibility that comes with having that light of the Divine shine through us. Until that moment comes, offer your own beautiful soul the gift of patience with the process, the warmth of loving yourself, and the delight in your own unique spiritual journey.

Honey and Cinnamon

Honey is the only food on the planet that will not spoil or rot. It will do what some call turning to sugar. In reality honey is always honey. However, when left in a cool dark place for a long time it will do what I rather call "crystallizing". When this happens I loosen the lid, boil some water, and set the honey container in the hot water, off the heat and let it liquefy. It is then as good as it ever was.

Never boil honey or put it in a microwave. To do so will kill the enzymes in the honey.

~ Bet the drug companies won't like this one getting around.~

Facts on Honey and Cinnamon:

It is found that a mixture of honey and Cinnamon cures most diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Scientists of today also accept honey as a 'Ram Ban' (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases.

Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases.

Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients.

Weekly World News, a magazine in
Canada, in its issue dated 17 January,1995 has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon as researched by western scientists:

HEART DISEASES:
Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread, instead of jelly and jam, and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also, those who have already had an attack, if they do this process daily, they are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heart beat. In
America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as you age, the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and veins.

ARTHRITIS:
Arthritis patients may take daily, morning and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured.. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week, out of the 200 people so treated, practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.

BLADDER INFECTIONS:
Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.

CHOLESTEROL:
Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient, was found to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 percent within two hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken three times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. According to information received in the said Journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol. I'm going to start using a tub of Cinnamon Honey Butter a week.

COLDS:
Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for three days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold, and clear the sinuses.

UPSET STOMACH:
Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomach ache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root.

GAS:
According to the studies done in
India and Japan, it is revealed that if Honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.

IMMUNE SYSTEM:
Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viral attacks.. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of Honey strengthens the white blood corpuscles to fight bacterial and viral diseases.

INDIGESTION:
Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before food relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals.

INFLUENZA:

A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural ' Ingredient' which kills the influenza germs and saves the patient from flu.

LONGEVITY:
Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly, arrests the ravages of old age. Take four spoons of honey, one spoon of cinnamon powder, and three cups of water and boil to make like tea. Drink 1/4 cup, three to four times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age. Life spans also increase and even a 100 year old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.

PIMPLES:
Three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder paste.. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root.

SKIN INFECTIONS:
Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin infections.

WEIGHT LOSS:
Daily in the morning one half hour before breakfast on an empty stomach, and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. If taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the

most obese person.. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high calorie diet.

CANCER:
Recent research in
Japan and Australia has revealed that advanced cancer of the stomach and bones have been cured successfully. Patients suffering from these kinds of cancer should daily take one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder for one month three times a day.

FATIGUE:
Recent studies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens, who take honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts, are more alert and flexible. Dr. Milton, who has done research, says that a half tablespoon of honey taken in a glass of water and sprinkled with cinnamon powder, taken
daily after brushing and in the afternoon at about
3:00 P.M. when the vitality of the body starts to decrease, increases the vitality of the body within a week..

BAD BREATH:
People of
South America, first thing in the morning, gargle with one teaspoon of honey and cinnamon powder mixed in hot water, so their breath stays fresh throughout the day.

HEARING LOSS:
Daily morning and night honey and cinnamon powder, taken in equal parts restores hearing. Remember when we were kids? We had toast with real butter and cinnamon sprinkled on it!

New Year's Resolutions

>

Today is New Year's Day. Literally, this is the first New Day in a New Year, a new decade. So,try something different this year and do not make New Year's Resolutions. Today, review what was amazing about last year and then decide that this is just going to be a great year.

We create the realities that we are ready to receive. What will they be? We each decide that. When we make resolutions, karmically, we are creating a type of 'contract' with ourselves, with our subconscious. It is the job of the conscious to create the ideas for how we want our life to be. It is the job of the subconscious to make those ideas a reality. So when we create a 'resolution', we are essentially creating a 'contract' with ourselves. That is no problem if we live up to the contract, but usually, people do not lose that holiday weight, become millionaires or find the love of their life in the new year. The resolutions they made are usually forgotten within the first week of January.

A better scenario would simply be to review the previous year with a grateful eye to the experiences received. We can decide to have a wonderful new year in which we can learn all kinds of new things, embrace new people and treasure old friends and family members. We can choose to be more loving and open-minded. We can allllow for the possibility of amazing things to happen and do not be too strict with ourselves.

There is a freedom to not being bound by a resolution. Perhaps being freer to be different, better, happier will be fantastic things to anticipate now in this wonderful new decade of 2010.

Happy New Year Everyone!
